The Tribute is home to 36 holes of pure golf. Lake views are included. But you have to provide your own straight putts and big drives.
The Tribute development is host to two of the Southwest’s premier golfing experiences, rich with history and golf mastery. The courses offer skillfully designed holes and incredible course cohesiveness — they can be enjoyed by the casual golfer out for an afternoon stroll. But for avid golfers and students of the game, the courses pay homage to great courses of the past and provide difficult tests in order to master the course.
The Old American Golf Club showcases the tremendous talents of Tripp Davis in tandem with Dallas’s own PGA star Justin Leonard. The new course mirrors famous American courses along the northeast coast and pays homage to the origins of golf course architecture, as the craft only came to fruition around the early 1900s. Bunkers are larger, more flowing, and surrounded by native grasses. The overall topography is dramatic with more elevations and trees. The course offers soft greens, flowing bunkers, and water features and frontages. Old American is rated by Golfweek as the #6 course to play in Texas, making it #1 in the DFW Metroplex!
Old American Golf Club is a semi-private club, and currently accepting new members!

The Tribute Golf Links, the namesake of the entire development, is a true links course, patterned after the legendary courses of Scotland. Designed by renowned golf architect Tripp Davis, The Tribute’s 18 holes simulate some of the most famous and difficult holes of the Scottish links including St. Andrews.
The Tribute Golf Links is one of the finest public golf courses in North Texas, featuring the signature elements of traditional Scottish golf, including wind-swept dunes, sea washed grasses, and challenging water hazards. Golf Digest tabbed it as the #1 Public Golf Course in the Dallas area and one of America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses for 2007-2008.
